KTLA Features BHRC CEO Sarah Gabriel on Longevity and Wellness

KTLA recently invited BHRC CEO Sarah Gabriel to discuss the longevity movement and practical wellness strategies for the new year. The segment explored what longevity truly means, common misconceptions, and how to separate evidence-based practices from internet noise.

Longevity as a Practice, Not a Promise

As Sarah shared with KTLA: “We’re in this era where longevity has become a buzzword, and what I really want us to focus on is longevity as a practice, as a lifestyle, a holistic approach to feeling good, living our best. There is this misperception that it’s equated with a forever young. What I like to say is it’s a best self. We’re empowering our best self to make sure we’re looking good, we’re feeling good, that we’re aging in a way that allows us to enjoy and move and live our life.”

Foundational Lifestyle Pillars

Sarah outlined evidence-based practices anyone can incorporate: prioritizing sleep for cellular regeneration, strength training for mobility at all life stages, and moments of meditation to regulate stress and inflammation. Referencing Blue Zones research, she highlighted how leg strength and the ability to stand from a seated position correlate strongly with healthy aging. These foundational pillars form the base upon which more advanced longevity protocols can build.

Provider-Guided Journeys and Measurable Results

On cutting through wellness noise, Sarah emphasized the importance of working with qualified providers: “Making sure that you’re on a provider-guided journey. We’re not just saying I’m going to take one treatment and that’s going to be my pill. There’s lifestyle choices, so creating a big plan with the provider so that you’re having routine check-ins, you’re having testing so you can see measurable results beyond anecdotal, which is where we really start to separate that sort of Internet noise from real change.”

Looking Ahead

As we continue to expand BHRC’s presence and introduce innovative treatment protocols, we remain committed to the brand’s founding mission: making transformative wellness and longevity treatments accessible to more people.
